I gave this app 3 stars because of the nice design and the easy use but could you maybe make it possible that times like 6:23:01 are possible to set as countdown?
I mean that you should be able to fit hours, minutes and seconds into one countdown.

This app does just what it says -- offers a badge on your homescreen that counts down for the amount of time youve set.
The key feature its lacking is the ability to select the date or time your event begins. If Im counting down to something that takes place on, say, June 8, I want to punch in June 8 and have the app do the math. Instead I have to figure out myself how many days away June 8 is and set that as the number of days.
That matters less if Im timing an egg, for example -- in which case this app is perfect -- but for events that take place hours or days away its an inconvenience to have to calculate the time remaining in order to set the app. I expected this functionality in a "count down" app.
If the creator is looking to add additional functionality, a count-UP feature would also be useful, so that this app could be used as a timer; for example, one could see at a glance how many days since one quit smoking, or how many hours since one took a medication.
Some bad moments
I want to set a timer for 1pm next Wednesday. As far as I can tell there is no way to set a timer that counts down days, hours and minutes in one display.
Above 46 days it only counts down every two days. Cant edit a timer you have to delete it and start all over
Awesome use of the badge! Works perfect. Belongs in the top 100.
Im honestly surprised nothing like this has been implemented before. The closest Ive seen is weather apps showing the temperature with the badge.
Unique ideas like this make extremely profitable sales.

The app is a great idea but for some reason it doesnt count down for me
Countdown works fine but theres no alarm. The settings lets you preview the different alarms but fails to save your selection. Unfortunately, the default alarm is silent... Close, but no cigar.
